Act Sustainably

Rip Curl strives to act and think sustainably, from everyday office practices to operational processes and event management. We aim to create sustainable processes in our product development and encourage employees to follow Rip Curl’s Community and Environment based values.
Each year our longest-running and largest event on the calendar, The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, is run in an entirely plastic-free environment. With each Rip Curl Pro, we aim to find new ways to work with local governing bodies to better manage event waste management and continually divert greater amounts of waste from landfill.
Another huge event on our calendar, The Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang, is a proud supporter of Plastic Free Uluwatu, the non-profit organisation working to improve the Waste Management System in Pecatu Village. Each year the event calendar includes a full day where competitors and event staff clean up the local beaches and valleys behind the beaches.

With Rip Curl Planet front of mind, we strive to act and think sustainably in all that we do.
