His skill on a surfboard makes him one of the world's best surfers and watching him work can often be like studying a manual on surfing technique.

Ben started surfing at age six and with the help of Australia's best surfing coach (father Martin) he quickly matured into a solid young surfer.

With a stack of good results in his early years of high school, Dunny decided to leave the Maths and English books alone in Year 10 and put all efforts into making it pro. Although it's a deadly move for some, the decision turned good for Ben and he dominated the pro junior ranks full time.

Today, Ben is among the world's best young surfers on the ASP World Tour. He battled for ASP Rookie of the Year honours on the 2007 ASP World Title and has a deserved spot amongst surfing's elite in 2008.
